Our online stream of sleep music is finally back. What's more, there is an MP3 stream now available. You can either listen to the radio stream in high quality OGG format or lower MP3 format.
At the moment the playlists for the MP3 and OGG radio stations aren't in sync. I guess you can alternate between them to choose which track you prefer to listen to :) Hopefully they will be in sync in the next few days.
In other news we welcome a new artist, MBW, and their new album MBW with some deep chill out minimal ambient sounds.
Polybonk has reached an important milestone - the site is out of beta and is now version 1.0. (were ahead of google:) There is still a lot of work to be done, it feels endless. What is very exciting is that we are releasing music again, that long gap of no music has finally been closed.
I would like to say thank you to everyone for their support and all the wonderful feedback that has helped us along the way!
MP3 radio station is now available and we have a new artist MBW...
I'm not sure if you've noticed but it might seem like there isn't much happening at Polybonk.com. Sadly this has been true with regards to new releases but things are looking up.
As mentioned in a previous post we have been working on improving our sound quality. At Polybonk's studios it seems like we are having breakthroughs nearly every week in sound quality and music production.
To give you a taste of what's to come, here's a sneak preview of a new track from the new album by The Pleasure. This awesome album will be released very soon!
We have recently got our hands on some rather unique audio mastering equipment which has improved the quality of our sound dramatically. Thanks to our brilliant audio mastering engineer, I can proudly say that we have reached a new level of sound quality that has surpassed any previous improvement and I also feel it has entered a truly professional level. It's simply amazing!
In order for you to experience this change I have quickly setup tree samples of "before and after" tracks for comparison...
It may seem like very little is happening but rest assured, there are a lot of exciting things going on. Just to name one of a few new things coming, Polybonk is getting involved in an exciting new project code named Project Audio Libra: PAL - This project is about pushing the boundaries of the Open source world of audio software. We at Polyobnk are huge fans of Free software and I have convinced one of our artists at Polybonk, Kavafortet to agree to this experiment.
